Privacy Policy
Effective September 3, 2026
Offline Teleprompter is designed to work locally on your Android device. This policy describes how version 0.1.0 (1), package app.corelabs.offlineteleprompter, handles information.
Information the app handles
Your scripts are stored in the app’s private local preferences. When you choose to record, the app requests access to the camera and microphone. Completed recordings are written to the device’s MediaStore Movies collection.
Data collection and sharing
The current release does not create user accounts, transmit scripts or recordings off the device, include cloud sync, or include analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not sell personal data.
Permissions
Camera and microphone permissions are used only for user-initiated recording. You can revoke these permissions in Android Settings. Doing so disables recording features that need them.
Device and platform services
Android, your device manufacturer, app store, and any device-level backup or media services may operate under their own policies. Offline Teleprompter does not control those services.
Children
The app is not designed specifically for children and does not knowingly collect children’s personal data.
Changes
If the app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the affected release is made available.
